Sataedu is a Finnish inter-professional training centre based in the Satakunta region. It offers EQF 3, 4 and 5 training courses in 20 different professional fields (construction sector, food trades, medical and aesthetic care) aimed at young people and adults (initial and continuing training).
Sataedu trains 5,000 learners per year. It employs 320 people working as teaching and administrative staff.
Sataedu has a multi-year experience of transnational cooperation allowing the setting up of a cooperation network composed of several European training establishments. It is in this context that European mobility actions and Erasmus+ strategic partnership projects, focusing on pedagogical innovation, are carried out.
Over the past three years, Sataedu has sent more than 200 learners abroad and received a comparable number of European learners.
The organization has also started a strengthened cooperation with China and the implementation of action addressed to Chinese caregivers.
